| In this painting, Pakistani women are shown in a landscape of static water, a pond and rocks enclosing this pond from all four sides. Shuttle-cock burqas reminds me of water lilies leaves. I wanted to create very static and silent atmosphere. Paper boats again show the position of women as helpless as these fragile paper-boats. |
